Odd man out

The epl is a very unpredictable league.....and then there's the top 4. These clubs need no introduction, but ill do it anyway. Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea. The top 4 have finished in the top 4 slots of the table 5 of the last 6 years, with only everton breaking through in the 04/05 season. These clubs have benefited from massive money takeovers and champions league revenue. This has separated them from the rest of the league. But thanks to the billions of an abu diabi billionaire....manchester city now has a chance to shake things up. Let's take a look at these 5 clubs and see how they stack up.

Manchester City, on paper, are a side that can do things. Are they top 4 as we speak? I think not. They lack a key defender and leader. Scoring goals wasn't city's problem....it was conceding them. So until they add defenders its hard to see them jump into the top 4. Everton is the more likely at the moment. City will take time. I say in 2 yrs they will be in the champions league. But for now, the citizens will have to have patients.
